Launch of Book on former Mufti Syed Isa Semait / Pelancaran buku tentang mantan Mufti Syed Isa Semait
Was very happy to launch the book about our former Mufti, Shaikh Syed Isa Semait at the National Library this afternoon. For nearly 40 years Shaikh Syed Isa guided the Singapore Muslim community to be both good Muslims and good citizens.
It was good to see many other religious leaders at the book launch too, to honour Shaikh Syed Isa. He touched the lives of people of all races and faiths, and made a quiet but important contribution to our racial and religious harmony. - LHL
